01st October 2011: Thank you to all the Mozillians, participants, contributors, volunteers for a great evening together at the soft launch of Mozilla Community Bangladesh, 27th Sep 2011 at BUET. A special Thanks to Mozilla, BUET, AKNET, ISOC Bangladesh Dhaka Chapter, Dhaka University, UPS for helping us to get to the event date, a successful one. It was nice to see so many open source enthusiastic men and women to celebrating this event. The event was with a vision to share the skills, ideas and interests with the Open Source participants. We are pleased that 40-50 people participate actively and enjoy the whole event. We discussed about History of Mozilla & Firefox, Open source projects, Licensing issues, Web security, Collaborative Web development etc. There was Mozilla swag for all the participants and t-shirt for quiz winners.
We also arrange snacks for the participants. After the event, we found the comment book with different cool comments. A great thanks to Pierros and Vineel for resolving the swag issue. http://twitpic.com/e/1x7d
